“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls, who, on finding one pearl of great value (or price), went and sold all that he had and bought it.” Matt.13:45-46
Prayer is a pearl of great value. So great a value as to be termed “priceless” when it comes to unlocking the kingdom of heaven within. And two or more gathered in the consciousness of prayer become a string of pearls whose value in awakening to the kingdom is beyond measure.
True prayer is bringing the activities of the mind to a stillness of focus, intending the mind and heart toward God. And when two or more are gathered together with the same intention and focus, miracles happen.
This webpage serves as a guideline for forming a small prayer group, “String of Pearls,” for the purpose of awakening the kingdom of God within and for the purpose of serving as a support network for you. A support group in prayer is absolutely priceless and essential for those who are seriously seeking the kingdom of God.
Anytime two or more are gathered at the heart level, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts and the increase of spiritual light is magnified to great proportions. Consciousness is transformed and healings result. You are coming together to experience God and the effects of the experience that knowing God provides.
The String of Pearls Concept
Once you have established a String of Pearls prayer group, each member of that groups goes forth and establishes another group. In this way, each person is a participant of one group and initiator of another one. Thus the concept of a global network of small strings or rings of pearls multiplies, forming a church without walls around the globe. One family in the heart of God regardless of race, creed, religion or political preference. This is the only way to bring Peace among all into the experience of Earth.
How to Form a String of Pearls
The first step is to pray for guidance, and for the people to be drawn to you who will be the greatest support and blessing for all involved. It is suggested that the circle of prayer be kept small, so that intimacy and confidentiality can be maintained.
Meeting places for the prayer experience are optional. You could meet in someone’s home each week or alternate home meetings among the group members. Public meeting places, churches, offices, etc. can also be utilized as adequate places to gather.
Times of day or night and length of prayer sessions are also optional. These details should be generated by the group consciousness and the needs of the group.
It is suggested that you meet at least once a week, and that you keep in close contact by phone or otherwise with each other during the week.
Suggested Format for Prayer Sessions
The first rule in establishing a format or structure for the prayer sessions is not to have any specific structure other than the following:
- Pray only for the will of God to be done.
- Anything expressed or shared by any participant is strictly confidential.
- Allow plenty of time in Silence surrendering to the movement of Spirit.
- Support each other in every way.
